Vibbbratttionsss Resolved...well almost...

Taking Yankee Tim & Bob's advice (as well as others) I found a tire shop that has the Hunter GSP9700 and was told and shown that ALL 4 tires are out of round. One rim had a small bend and I will replace them. I called Hi-Tec and they were accomodating, but I nneed to speak with the owner and I'll do that on Monday. The fellow I spoke with didn't seem to think that there would be any problem sending me new tires.

I know this is way premature, but.....
Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo!

I was really prepared for a fight to the death over this. We shall see on Monday how this plays out. So far, so good.

As far as the quest for the vibrations culprit, I believe my quest has ended.

Funny thing though.... I always put anything vehicle related in folders that reside in a file cabinet. My receipt for the tires kept popping up in in funny places in my apartment. I thought I had filed it, but I always found the tire receipt outside of the folder. Maybe a higher force was trying to tell me something and I wasn't listening hard enough.....
As always, I'll keep everyone posted on my trials and tribulations...
Thanks again, Bob & Tim!

Other than the problem I'm having now, I really like these tires. They perform better than I thought and I'm very happy how they handle in all conditions.....

This may be a good time to upgrade to "Green Diamond" stuff for the NY winters. I wished they were available when I purchased my HiTecs.

I wish I could upgrade, but I need another set of rims to go with the new rubber. Next time, I'll try the Green Diamond tires....

Glad you appear to be finally done with the vibes. I knew Bob would "steer" you right. If you are investing in rims, think long term. IF you plan on going higher and a bigger tire down the road, then get a BS'd rim that you can grow into.

BTW - What is these "green" tires? Is this the softer tires with the walnut shell added into the mix?
