Samurai Auto Trans

A few days ago someone asked a similar question, and one answer said such a thing exists.
Well I have a left leg problem and will need auto in the future.
Does anyone know for sure if auto was ever offered for the Sami, in Japan or anywhere ?
If available in Japan I can prolly get one.

Re: Samurai Auto Trans

Sorry if this is a repost..... I seem to have a problem with making a post and it not showing up.

Anyway give me until Sunday to find out more information about that guys Samurai automatic he bought from a Sami or jimmy.... in Japan. He just bougth it for the upper end....minus the head... Anyway still has the motor and tranny attached. Try and get the tranny model number. i think he has a tag that has the motor and tranny model number written on it. i can see if they match. but my hands are tied until this Sunday.

"my hands are tied until this Sunday"

That's pretty kinky minipigg! Hey, with the lack of power in the 1300, why don't you swap it for a 1600 with the auto tranny and transfer case? I can't IMAGINE what a 1300 would be like with an auto on it! Can you say "that dog won't hunt"???

Re: Samurai Auto Trans

Yeah Bob I know what you mean, gutless.
But over here to swap motors requires certification, not too easy and you pay for it whether you get certified or no.
I have a swift block and am doing a head recon with cam and headers, fitting an inch and three quarter SU carb and am hoping for some fireworks.
