Air Conditioner = Air Compressor

I'm taking all the Air Conditioner stuff off of my Sammi and got to thinking. I have heard of people using their air conditioner compressor as an air compressor to be used to air up tires, etc. Any of ya'll know where I can get info on this? That'd be kinda kool.

Re: Air Conditioner = Air Compressor

I did it and I love it, I can inflate my 33's from 4psi to 20psi in under one minute each. My plug in air pump took 10 minutes each. I can also run air tools. I dont know of a write-up on it, but its not very tough to do.
