heater panel and wheelbase questions

it's goin' to be cold soon and the heat knob on the dash has broken off, you could feel the cable snap off when it happened. The last owner told me that it was getting real stiff so he started working back and forth and it just snapped off! anyone had this happen?
also... the vehicle is a LWB, and it's not at my place yet, just curious as to the wheelbase on it. i know the SWB is 79.9" thanks

Re: heater panel and wheelbase questions

I'm not sure about the wheelbase, but I've got issues with my heater controls also.

The temp control, fan and fresh/recirculated air works fine. The cable which selects the vents is completely seized though. The only way I can adjust which vents is by moving the metal rods on the side of the lower vent box.

Re: heater panel and wheelbase questions

other than getting the server wrong, misspelling specifications, and getting an extra html tag in there, i don't know why it didn't work! hahaha, lemme try:

Re: heater panel and wheelbase questions

I just went outside and measured the wheelbase on my LWB. Mine measures approx. 95". Hope this helps.
