Ordered the Xterrain\'s today

Welp, I went ahead and ordered them today. 35's, now I just got to get them to fit. I figured I would regret it if I got the 33's and I am going to do whatever it takes to get them 35's under without much rubbing. These new tires better perform for the money. I was going to go with bias swampers but was worried about the sidewall flex so I opted for the radials, plus my zuk sits alot and I wouldn't want flat spots and I don't want to go through the trouble of blocking it up all the time. Well, just wanted to post. Anyone else running these tires or know of a friend of a friend of a cousins sisters aunts uncle that is running them?

Wes.

Re: Ordered the Xterrain\'s today

I've test driven 2 vehicles with them, and sorry to say they are pretty loud, and drive crappy(33x12.50-15) but thats my opinion on them(91 explorer and 98 blazer) .. they look like a decent tire for off the road, but we couldnt get the guy we put them on for to go offroading last weekend to test them out.

Re: Ordered the Xterrain\'s today

Not too worried about on road performance. If you ask me, a samurai is scary stock. It will only see trails and a few excursions on pavement when need be. I was a little skeptical of the width of the lugs compared to the other tires but did notice that these are siped and should grab at rocks a little better and help reduce lateral movement/sliding while climbing like I have witnessed with boggers.

Re: Ordered the Xterrain\'s today

3" body, 2.5" lifted yj springs, shackle reversal in front, my drop style shackle in rear, sidekick rear welded, lockright front. My front bumper bottom is 37" high my rocker panels are 35" the top of the targa bar is 6'11". Its actually too tall really, if I move back to Long Island I'm going to tear it all apart, build or buy a new suspension to lower it a bit, but will cut the fenders so I can still get all the flex I want and full exo it. If I stay in Ohio .. I might exo it.
