IFS help

I just recently put OME coils up front on my Grand Vitara. With a lot of help from Glen whom I owe a very big thanks to. But heres my problem now my front struts are too short and they are topping out when I go over bumps I can hear them hitting. (doesn't do much for ride ether) I have gone to all my local shops and they say they can't help me. So how do I go about finding longer struts. And yes I know RPO has front struts but @ $224(us)+ shipping that just too much there has to be something else. I would hate to have to remove my lift. Besides you have no idea how hard it was getting those coils in( no spring compressor). Right Glen

Re: IFS help

The only advice I have is hit some of the other boards, the tech editor at izook for trackers/kicks is big into suspension mods so you may want to send him an e-mail. other option is to hit a junk yard and start measuring. maybe you can find something a bit longer off a trooper or something.
And you are welcome. (I am also going to buy a spring compresor on my next tool buying binge.)

Re: IFS help

Isn't the spring compresser one of the loaner tools at AutoZone? Might save you some money unless you are determined to own one.
