Flange ?

I would like to know if the pinion flange and the T-case flange are the same part? The reason I am asking is the Yota axles are going in this weekend and I have a Yota drive shaft. My t-case has the small flange, but I have a spare large flange off of a pinion. I would like to swap them if I could.

Re: Flange ?

Both pinion flanges are the same. The tcase has a couple of different ones. Depending on the flange you're talking about, it may or may not work. Spline is the same on all though.

Re: Flange ?

Just as a wild guess here since I don't have atcase in front of me (but I have the darn things just about memorized), if it is the input flange to the tcase, it should work with the pinions as well. Rear output would definetely NOT work.

Re: Flange ?

Glenn,

How about making an adapter to mate your KAD's to a toyota flange?!? I am interested in getting these driveshafts but I would still have to figure out what to do about the flanges mating up. I have both axles mounted but I have a few things left to do till I get to the driveshafts.

Re: Flange ?

With our dual pattern driveshaft spacers, you should be able to work it. If you're seriously interested call our office and talk to Von. He drives a competition rockcrawler Toyota and a nice Samurai. We could possibly do a test fit to confirm for you.

Re: Flange ?

glenn,

I actually have your driveshaft spacers and the holes just don't quite fit the toyota flange. The holes are still just a little too small/narrow to match up perfectly. I'll give your guys a call when I'm ready to work on this. I still have other things to work out first.
