Re: mxnhid\'s raw zookin 2k1 video
Im mister badass himself, but you dont have to call me mister. That cage took just about 7-9 days to build and then i had to do alot of touch up and adding to it. Jeepn has a link that shows the original build up of it on the rig when it was stock. Lots of pics floating around this site, but ill try to get you more starting on tuesday if you remind me. I have to get ready for an event this weekend. That was my second cage and i eyeballed everything and glued it together with a mig welder and a harbor frieght bender. If you saw the detail on it, im sure you would grimis and roll your eyes. Its not all that hot, but i do believe she'll do the job on a slow roll. My original concept was to make it removable, and it is, although im never going to take it off unless it get mangled in a roll. Should make the removal a little easier i hope. Remind me on tuesday and ill shoot you some pics. The silver one with the big calmini bumper on the front and the stupid roof lights (that look cool and are magnetic to low hanging limbs on trees) is my wifes. That is a fun rig to drive too. (16v, lckd frnt/rr, grs-1, birfeilds, calmini strng crrctn, spoa, 33' MT-R's etc) Mine is stock moter (16v on side with auto tranny and sending the trnsfr case out to OTT for dual trnsfr setup to my grs-1) 5.12rp's, spoa extending shackles, cj rear and rear up front, both rigs have power steering (mine is toyo and hers is tracker) traction bar on 3 axis, shielded up the bum, extrnl cage, Warn x8000i, 98 amp alt, blah blah blah... They are both fun to drive.
