saggin front end

Ok i noticed my front end sags down an inch or two more than the rear. would it be ok to add another leaf from a donor sammy I have. When I add the shackles and the add a leaf to the front won't that level it out or will the front sit to high.

that will more than likely even it out but you don't wanna go to wild with the shackles. If you go to long you can run into pinion angle problems. Also if you add a 2" longer shackle you will only gain 1" of lift.

When adding a leaf I reckon you should pull you spare spring packs apart and test out the lower leafs individually to see which one gives you the desired result.

I hope my info is accurate. I'm pretty tired and could have got it all wrong.

Re: saggin front end

if your springs are inverted, you may also want to beef up the spring pack while adding new leaves in. We have an Add A Leaf designed for 3" springpacks to make them into heavy duty springs. They work great for breathing life back into a tired set of springs as well. They're from National and have teflon pads, very high quality!
