most likley custom drive shafts, a body lift might be necessary to fit it under the hood......i don't have this done to mine but i was going to do a 3.8L and auto but it was out of a car so 2wd. and couldn't leave the stock t-case, the 2.8L should have a married t-case so just drive shafts will be a pain in the @#$%.......

you definitely need to change your drivetrain..a drivetrain made to take no more than maybe 80 lb/ft of torque will dang sure not take around 200 lb/ft of torque! unless you wanna put yourself in debt by stickin and breakin the stock d'train then that is up to you! d44's will do fine although I here good things about yota axles! gonna be wide though!

Re: chev 2.8 auto swap into samm

i almost got a bronco 2 today (wasnt really worth the 500, burned oil, guy dint take care of it *shakes head* but atleast i know it will still be there if i change my mind lol!)

i prolly woulda used the tcase and axles to mount it with the engine (mine is on its final miles * I SWEAR! SUZUKI ENGINES NEVER DIE! right when you think its gonna crap out, it keeps on tuggin!) woulda sold the rest and get my 500 back... is it worth it? NAH i think i can find better.

i have an uncle who has (with the ford 2.9) 300,000mi on it, and its still runin, thats what amazed me, especially when i saw it with my own eyes. but hes takin good care of it.

hmm sell ford axles an get some toy axles...?
