Re: what power upgrade do you recommend?

I think anything you do to increase the breathing of any engine will improve performance at upper RPMs. It is just a matter of cost vs. benifits if money is tight. Since you own a Samurai cost is probably important to you.

This subject has been covered extensively on this BBS. Do a search for DT, Doug Thorley, Calmini, headers, etc and you will get all the information you can use.

Re: what power upgrade do you recommend?

howdy,
i started with a isky cam(rro), switch to a phaze 1 torquer (hawk). i like the phaze 1 better. then i did high compression pistons (asain auto). then a pacesetter header (j.c. whitney), then switch to dt header (rro). and the best muffler is the hardcore muff (rro). i sat my whole sammi on the thing all it did was take the paint off it. now i'm rejatting my weber, the best carb for a sammi, to about 38/42.

Thanks fer your time,

Jimmie & MONZUKI
