I have a steelhorse and it fits just fine. I put mine on when it was cloudy just ran the heater on high for about 30 minutes. After you get it on and let it stretch in maybe it will be allrite, mine was.

I have a Steel Horse... it just has to stretch out, then it will fit like a glove.

Re: new top....too tight

I just let mine sit in the sun for about an hour and snapped the last snaps. It was real tight the first couple of times, but it ended up fitting like a glove.

Re: new top....too tight

The Steelhorse top I bought had one snap missing from the box and then two more snaps came off while taking it off to send it back.

My brother also bought one later and there is NO WAY that all the snaps on his could be snapped at the same time. It was not a poor fit... it was physically impossible to make the snaps come close to fitting.

I'm not saying that all of their tops are that bad, but their quality control does not seem to be very good based on my experience.

I sent mine back and exchanged it for a cheap Bestop for about $30 more. It was built more than $30 better in my opinion.

steel horse is widely know for cheesy-crappy stuff...

sorry for such a general statement, but if you do a search on the SWB-board on steelhorse ... you will get the idea
