I think you are on the wrong list if you want LSD.

I can't tell a lie. You got me red handed. I am a dead head. I think the only drug I am addicted to is Coffee.

Good to see I'm not alone. There are several of us "phreaks" on the BBS

Re: who makes LSDs?

The posi that Calmini sells is the only clutch type limited slip available for Samurai axles. You have to run Trail Tough axle shafts to
install it in front since it's only available with 26 spline side holes. Calmini has talked about making 26 spline front inner shafts but they're
holding back because they believe it would have a limited market. If anybody would like to see these available they should get on the
phone and tell Calmini to please make a batch.
I'm running the posi in the front axle of my rig and believe it's an excellent way to keep big tires from blowing a Birfield. However I've
noticed my Zuk doesn't climb quite as well as others equipped with a front locker. When you get one front wheel in the air the one on
the ground doesn't get much torque transmitted to it. Six to one, half a dozen to the other.

Re: who makes LSDs?

From what I understand LSD was installed as a factoy option on some zuks. So you might want to keep an eye out for a stock one. BTW my Brother-in-law had one stock in his rig.

Re: who makes LSDs?

The limited slip differential was not an option in the American market. Remember, Samurais were marketed as "girly" jeeps with fake wood trim, lots of chrome and the like. Hell, we didn't even get the fold down windshield.

1988.5 Zuk: OD Green Paint, ARB Bumper, OME Lift, 1.6 engine, ISKY DP Cam, Weber Carb, CF II Clutch, 4.16 Transfer, etc.
