I want all of you to take a minute and read what im going ot post at the end of this message. My cousin emailed this to me and it is an awesome peice of journalism. You never stop to think about this stuff but this puts alot of things into perspective.

This, from a Canadian newspaper, is worth sharing.
> America: The Good Neighbor
> Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to A
> remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a
> Canadian television commentator. What follows is the full text of his
> trenchant remarks as printed in the Congressional Record:
> "This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the

> Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted
> out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of
> dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is
> today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United
> States.
> When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans
> who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on
> the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it.
> When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that
> hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened
> by tornadoes. Nobody helped.
> The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars

> writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans.
> I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the

> You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios.
> You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles.
> You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon -
> not once, but several times - and safely home again.
> You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the
> store window for everybody to look at.
> Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our

> When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking Down
> through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the
> Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody
> loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.
> I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of
> other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone
> else
> raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help
> even during the San Francisco earthquake.
> Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned

> thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to
> thumb
> their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles.
> I hope Canada is not one of those."
> Stand proud, America!

now, please stop posting about this country falling apart. If that is really how you feel, you are free to leave any time you wish. I on the other hand am going to go out tommorrow and by an american flag (if there are any left around here) and hang it on my front porch. the small university town of College Station Texas is fulling backing our president and every american needs to do the same. I support any and all retaliation that our government deems neccasary and i will always support it. The 2 nukes we dropped on Japan were very drastic measures, but I dont know of a single person that looks back on that part of our history and says "you know, maybe we shouldnt have done that." We will do what is right, and we will prevail - bigger and more strong than ever.

Thank you.

It's circa 1973.

We're flying the flags on the vehicles, putting them up on the door at work, and I'm even wearing one on my T-shirt.

As Steve said, the country is not falling apart, it's uniting. I will also stand behind any US measure, and will even serve in the military again if asked. I would gladly give my life for this country and our way of life. EVERY person in the US should have the same feelings.

I'm right with ya' Jeepn. I'll telly ya', I have 3 young children, 2 who are old enough to sort of know what's going on. I also have lots of friends with small children who are scared. This whole episode reminds me of when I was a kid and the fears of nuclear war that I had. If I could serve and insure that my children and others didn't have to experience that same fear, I would gladly go kick some terrorist ass.

actually there is a on going debate over dropping the A-bomb on Japan, The people there are still seeing the effects of it. IMOP from an American point of view...We should have dropped it a month or two earlier.

I am a Canadian and proud of it.I am also nproud to cal the U.S.A. a great country. Like the letter above say's they are one of if not the first country to offer help or send in troops to prevent a war, or to try and stop one. I believe thel U.S. will come out of this stronger than ever. I also feel VERY sorry for the country or countries that help's to hide the CRIMINALS that did this hanus act of cowardous.

Just my two cents and i stand by them holehearted. God Bless America....

Damm right brother! It reminds me of that song about being a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. We might fight amoungst each other but when we get attacked we unite and become One Nation.

Hi Guys,

I mourn your losses too.

I do think my Country is better though... but still, there are things that cannot go unnoticed because we just don't live there.

Its a fight between Evil and Good. And thus, though we might have differences sometimes, Good shall always unite in front of the greater Enemy...

I know some coutries say that you guys are not the greatest and all, and they're right...

Your the Second greatest...
Hey, I gotta preach for mine too you know...Otherwise, I should move right away... One thing is for sure, I wouldn't have any other country than America by my side. Having you guys right beside us is just awesome. And if somebody touches family, they're going to see all the brothers stand behind them.

And I agree, Your are NOT falling appart. You might have some little internal differences of opinions, like we all do, but in the Big picture, your uniting with the world.

And I agree, whatever President Bush does, I support it too.

Praise the Lord!
