Anyone got the stats on it, and how it compares to the D44 that is so common?

Re: Birfeilds no mo!? Trailtoughs Hybrid

So please, someone explain to me how taking the Tracker chunk, welding on the D44 tubes and outers, then having the axles shaved and resplined will be any different? It seems like it could be done for a lot less than $2K.

Any why would anyone want to use the smaller discs, smaller calipers, and smaller hubs on a D44?

Looks nice though, just isn't for me.
