Ordering SPOA, Need info

I have a 94 Samurai 3" lift running 30" tires. Boulder Colorado.
I am going to order the 4.5" SPOA pads from RRO, with a Z-Link. I have the TrailMaster 3" spring kit now, but I want a better ride.
Will the shocks for my 3" lift still work with the SPOA?
Will I need to install drive shaft spacers?
Where do the lower shock mount brackets go?

Re: Ordering SPOA, Need info

Those springs, as you may be aware, are pretty stiff. We setup a rig ehere with SPOA and Trailmaster springs that ended with a pretty decent ride. The secret was to only keep the two longest leafs of each spring pack. Pull the others out.

After we did that, the vehicle flexed well and rode great.

Your shocks will only work if you keep the shock mounts at the tops of the springs (on the springs), and in the stock position on the top end of the shocks.

Feel free to contact me direct by email or call if you have any more questions about dialing your system in.

Re: Ordering SPOA, Need info

I'm running the CSC YJ kit which gave me about 4 inches of lift front and rear. I then added the RRO 4.5 deluxe spring pads. Due to the thickness of my leaf packs I ended up with 5 inches. Once I went spring over, my rear driveshaft became too short (I had already replaced the front with a sumo shaft from Asian Auto). I'm not sure how much spacing you would need though.

If you are getting the deluxe pads, you will like them. They are extremely easy to put on since they align themselves.
