Bashed at Barnwell pics...

Here are the pics of the damage done when I rolled down Houston Trail at Barnwell last weekend. As you can see in the pics, I've been rippin' her apart for the rebuild. In the roll, the snorkel didn't just break, it disintegrated!

As usual, these pictures don't do reality justice...

I'm waiting for the friend who took the action shots to get them to me before I can post those.

Gotta rebuild it from the frame up, but that's a small price to pay when neither my wife or I was harmed!

Re: Bashed at Barnwell pics...

Glad to hear no one was hurt. That looks like a pretty bad roll you took there. There isn't a straight piece of metal on that rig! Oh well, dents add character, and chicks love body damage! lol F_T

hell it looks fine just has a bit more storys to tell. check your motor mounts and your tranny mounts. they like to tear apart when you flip them. but i would have to drive it like that. it make a statement. later mike

Re: Bashed at Barnwell pics...

What did you have in it for rollover protection? Did you remove it to use in your next rig? If so, it is built well...

Re: Bashed at Barnwell pics...

My poor abused beast. I hope it doesn't bear me a grudge. Once I'm done rebuiding her, we're gonna conquer Houston trail! This time, tho, I'll toss the winch cable up there to keep me from rolling as I scramble over it (hopefully)!

Re: Bashed at Barnwell pics...

I had an 8-point roll cage, 5-point harnesses, and RCI seats. They worked like a champ. I have all of it out to go back in the next body.

Hey Mike, I just changed my signature to incorporate a pic of my zook (kinda like yours) and it just shows my text screen instead. How'd you get yours to work?

Re: Bashed at Barnwell pics...

Perry, I hate to hear about that. Im glad to hear that you and your wife are ok. I guess thats why you wont be needin the seat anytime in the near future. When i rolled mine it looked alot like your does now. I didnt hurt my frame tho.
Keep us updated on how the rebuild goes.

Yeah, thanks! I just finally figured out they were allowing Markup and not HTML in signatures! Had to read it 6 times in my profile before it sank in, ya know!
