Re: I got a b lift!!!!! help!
If it's more than 2" you'll need a fuel filler hose. Its a real simple operation: Remove all 10 bolts from mounts, disconnect distibutor leads from harness, then lift the drivers side with a floor jack. Insert 5 bushings and washers along drivers side. Lower jack, rinse and repeat along passengers side. Bolt on all mounts, re-connect distributor, install new fuel filler hose.
You can also take the opportunity while you have the passenger side lifted with the jack to check all your hoses coming out of the fuel tank on top, make sure none are cracked, missing, or disconnected. Easy way to get water and crap in the fuel tank. I noticed one of the breather hoses to the cannister was broken and left the tank open to the elements, so now I know there is about 5 lbs of east Texas red dust in the tank from Barnwell and another 5 lbs of mud from the last mud hole I conquered. Doesn't leave much room for fuel.
Good luck bro! Do you still want these shafts and front axle????
