Tran/transfer ?

Fellow zukheads:

Have been hashing a few ideas around in the old noodle and was wondering. I have a 1.6 8 valve in my sami with a grsII...

COULD I use a trackertrans and trasfer case and some how use my grsII behind the tracker case?????

That is the 65,000$ question..
Thanks in advance

Re: Tran/transfer ?

I'm pretty sure that's the combo Mike Shaffer uses in his ARCA competition rig. I don't think there's any reason it wouldn't all bolt together, but if you still want to use the intermediate shaft you might be short on room.

To add to the coolness factor try to find an automatic Tracker transmission.

Re: Tran/transfer ?

yeah, mike shaffer did it. i would imagine you would need to lengthen your wheelbase quite a bit to have a rear d/shaft though. lengthening is a good thing too.
