Need opinion: windshield frame

What's a rust free windshield frame with the wiper motor worth?? I've got one that a fella wants and I have no idea what it's worth. The glass is no good. Thanks.

I get as much as $50.00 for a decent one. But, I don't include ANYTHING with it, no wiper motor, wiper arms, etc...

Re: Need opinion: windshield frame

howdy,
i sold one to a buddy for $125 with motor. it was fair, frame is about $159 at auto body shop by me, window was $147.57 plus $150 installed, motor was $45, and the window seal was $59, not to mention the soft top seal at the top of the frame. so i think that to be really fair.

Thanks fer your time,

Jimmie & MONZUKI

Re: Need opinion: windshield frame

WOW! You've got some BIG dollar stuff! I can get a flat windshiled glass installed for $75.00 (including parts and labor) if they can save the windshield gasket. I sell the wiper motors on eBay (an already overly-inflated market) for anywhere between $10.00 and $20.00 and of all the frames I've sold (grant it, none were new) the best price I got for one was $80.00.

Re: Need opinion: windshield frame

Im with Capn, I had 2 windshields replaced for under $100 each including the gasket. The free installation even included them coming to my house and installing them while I was at work.
