Wheel centers ??

Is it possible for the lug holes in a wheel not be concentric relative to the large center hole? Man, if this is the gremlin I'm chasing......LOL

Re: Wheel centers ??

Crow--My brother had this problem with his Kick. The guys that mounted his tires got a little "happy" with the air wrench and messed up the stud holes. His rims are aluminum, not sure about yours. The tires were perfectly balanced but they would shake your teeth out on the road. The tire shop ordered some lug nuts that had a "sleeve" that went inside the stud hole to help center the rim. Problem solved, but he won't buy tires from them again. HTH

Re: Wheel centers ??

Bill4rest, you need a LOT of help with that limited redneck vocabulary of yours.

(And no more of that Holy Cow stuff, that sounds too much like Batman and Robin.)

Re: Wheel centers ??

I don't know a whole lot about wheels, but, I know there is a wheel standard called hub centric. Your wheel may not be constructed correctly. A good wheel/tire shop should be able to tell.

Good Luck,
