Very quick wiring question

I had to install a new alternator and fix a broken wire on the plug that attaches to the back. But I can't remember which wire went on which side. I posted a pic. Right now I have the red wire on the left side of the clip and the black one on the right. Could somebody take a quick peek under their hood and see if this is correct? Thanks!

Re: Very quick wiring question

it should only fit in one way becaust the clip will only hold it in one way... if i remember correctly, that little clip goes on the top...

Re: Very quick wiring question

I had to remove the whole plug. One of the wires had broke off inside so I had to take it apart and rewire it. Now I can't remember which side which wire went to. I just want to make sure I have the little wires on the right side of the plug itself.

Yes, you have it correct.

I just checked mine (and not put grease all over the keyboard), and they are the way you described.
