what steering correction to go with ?

7 1/2 inches of lift...should i go with calmini's or breeze's answer for steering correction ?prices pretty much the same.heard with that much lift i would have to run a z link to be able to use the breeze set-up to its best ablity.is it that way with the calmini as well.would hate to have to buy two diffrent fixs for steering .for that price i might have to get creative .

What kind of Lift? I'm guessing spring over?

If SPOA go with Breeze.

Re: what steering correction to go with ?

If you want you can make your own z-bar out of 1" solid cold rolled steel! That is what I did! It only cost me $5.00 to make! Just cut the old one off and bend the new one to fit your lift, weld the old bar ends to the new z-bar and then you can add some guests (sp?) to it so it will not bend on the trail! I haven't done that yet and I've had no problems in the 2yrs that I've had mine on!
But, if you want the best and don't care about the price, then get the x-over sttering!

Re: what steering correction to go with ?

A standard "Z" link will not work with the Breeze Crossover steering, as the "Z" link or Drop Drag Link as we call it is designed to connect to the ball joint that is made into the lower tie rod. If you have 7.5" of suspension lift (don't count a body lift), then the Breeze Cross Over will work, but anything beyond 6" of suspension lift starts feeding bumpsteer back into the drag link. I have 7.5" of suspension lift on the NCO truck, and I run the Breeze Crossover and a drop pitman arm. This completely corrects all bumpsteer. Generally speaking, the Calmini linkage steering is used on SPUA applications, and the Breeze Crossover is primarily for SPOA applications. At 7.5" of lift, you don't have to run anything else than the Crossover, but as mentioned, you will see some bumpsteer come back in, although far less than any "Z" link or our Drop Drag Link.

Re: what steering correction to go with ?

Make it soon, as I have 5 left from the last order (got all they had),and they are in a 3 - 4 week shutdown for re-tooling, so it will be around 6 weeks before the next batch comes in, and these will only last a few days.
