Jimny / Leaded petrol with a cat

Hi!

I'm thinking of buying a Jimny, and I was wondering if anyone here already owns one? I have a Samurai at the moment which I'm probably going to keep. I need something quieter and with an auto box.

I'll be taking my new baby to Morocco about twice a year from the UK, and in the south there can sometimes be problems getting unleaded fuel.

Anyone know what the implications would be if I fitted a temporary pipe to replace the cat while I was away?

Cheers, Scott.

Instead of going to Morocco bring your Jimney to South Carolina in the USA... We'll pay a premium for it, then you can go on to Morrocco.

Early 87 Zuk, Calmini headers, 2" Calmini reverse lift, Calmini 2" Exhaust system, Kayline Full Doors,Steel Horse Seats, 30x9.5 Roadmaster rubber, Doetsh shocks & stabilizer, soon a Pony & GRS-1

i guess you should go with a flange before and after the cat... so you could replace the cat by 15" of straight pipe...

shouldn't cost very much

Alfred's got the solution!

As long as the Morrocans (or the Brits) don't mind.

That's how i planned to do it, I'm wondering about what effect it will have on the O2 senser or etc and how this will affect the economy and performance
