Swamper TSL tires

got my tsl tires installed today on my 1990 tracker.
215/85-15,seems to be the largest tires you can use
without a lift.also largest tires on stock rims.
they ride nice, not at all harsh.
they make a nice low volume hum at highway speeds, nothing
loud about them.at 45mph and below you can't really hear them at all, above 45mph the are just barely noticable.
radio at normal level will drown the hum out, talking at normal level will drown out the hum also.
i'm inpressed with the on-road manners,tomorow i will test
them out off-road(nothing realy hard).
great tire,great price!

Re: Swamper TSL tires

I've got 29s on my Sami and I LOVE 'em! Be careful, the hum will put you to sleep after a while. The only complaint I have with mine are that they won't hold a balance very well. I've taken them back several times to the tire place and either they're complete idiots (completely possible) or these tires are just hard to balance...

AARRRRRRRG! 1987 Red JX 'vert, 4.5 BREEZE SPOA, SJ410 T-case (not sure how I like it), 29 Super Swampers (31 BFG M/T knock offs - eventually) AARRRRRRRG!

Re: Swamper TSL tires

Problem with Swampers is they're bias ply, so they like to flat spot, and sometimes it takes awhile for them to come out of it. I don't balance mine for that very reason.

Re: Swamper TSL tires

Swampers on a Tracker? I was thinking of a Kick or Tracker 4 door as my next project. I'll need the Calmini 6" lift and 32x9.50s!!!!
