\'84 410 & Samurai tcase???

I'm going to install an '84 410 case in my Samurai and was wondering if the oil seals were the same. I figured while the flanges were off I'd change them. Thanks for any info.

Yes, you can use seals for the newer cases. they actually have a wiper deal on the outside that the old ones didn't.

if you send the '84 410 and samurai counter gears to Trail Tough, they can weld them up for you for $100. This would give you the 4.16 low range. I just sent my buddies out to them for this, its worth the $100 bucks!
