Windshield Frame

Do you have to remove the dash in order to remove the windshield frame or can the dash stay in place???

The dashboard stays there but the cover on the passenger side (over the wiper motor) will pop off when you remove the windshield frame. It's not that difficult to remove...

AARRRRRRRG! 1987 Red JX 'vert, 4.5 BREEZE SPOA, SJ410 T-case (not sure how I like it), 29 Super Swampers (31 BFG M/T knock offs - eventually) AARRRRRRRG!

thanks...cuz by chance mine is rust out...and needing to be replaced!!!
