It LIVES!

Yes, it's back on the trail. I towed it down to Wildweasel's house to install the Pony carb, and all is well. It's back on the trail, the carb was the problem, so the new Pony was the ticket. It was a simple install, and runs great. It does tend to idle up on downhills and needs a hand throttle for steep uphills, but it's easily workable. Mxnhid came up over the weekend, and CharlyA came down from Old Town, so we ran a local mountain, and came out "On Top O' the World". That's the Atlantic in the background, and the islands offshore, it's a nice place to wheel and I've been running this mountain for 23 years, with everything from a motorcycle to a dogsled. I just had to post these, it was a great day being able to wheel my own Zuk and not have to ride again. Max has a ton of pictures, but they'll be awhile coming as he's been VERY busy.

Re: It LIVES!

I am glad you got it fixed. That view is incredible. It is getting to places like that. That makes it all worth it.

Re: It LIVES!

Glad to hear it worked out well. You may want to drop the
float level a smidge. That should help with most of it.
Up hill I have 0 problems, Only STEEP downhills do I
sputter at all. Wheeling went well on sat, Only broke the
bolts off on the pass side hub. (Had 3 wheel drive for a bit.) Gonna help Bob Ackley get his 3 willys home tonight,
and I won a $200 gift certificate sat night at the club Picnic . I am letting him park the 2 he is going to take apart in the yard so I will be able to pick the bones once he gets what he wants. Fun FUN!

Re: It LIVES!

I left my tickets with Bob A, and when I called to set up a time to go get his Jeeps he told me! We left maybe an hour after you. At the least this will take the sting out of an ARB!
