are my front springs bad?

I was under Yellow Wheels this afternoon looking at how the rear bumper is attached when I looked down the length of the undersides. I noticed that the front springs had absolutely ZERO arch to them. The back set is nicely arched.

Is there supposed to be a bit of arch in the front springs? I only occasionally get a look at another Samurai in traffic around here so it's hard to compare at 45+ MPH...

Re: are my front springs bad?

Flat or VERY slight arch is normal. If they are frowning, they are shot.

Good!

One less thing to fix!

BTW, the check went out early this week on the timing cover plug.

Thanks!
