What A DEAL!

I just walked into one hell of a deal. I was out shopping for some new tires for the Sami. I had my mind set pretty much on a set of swampers. 4Wheel parts is having a big sale on Saturday. So I called them to get a price on them. They would not release prices till tomorrow. I called a tire shop and asked what they got for Swampers. He said not as good as I could get at some place like 4wheel parts. I asked about the new BFG Mud T/A. He asked what size I was needing. Well when I told him he said have I got a good deal for you. He had a set of four BFG Mud T/As Moab edition with less than 100 mile on them. He goes there yours for 75.00 a piece. I SAID SOLD! Their not swampers but I have ran BFG Mud T/As for years and like them. Man, What a deal!

Re: What A DEAL!

Great deal! Gotta love it!

I'm in good position to aquire an air compressor with a 50 gal. tank. I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, but I do have my finger's crossed. I'm #2 on the dibs list, but #1, I'm told is unlikely to want it.

Re: What A DEAL!

Does the Moab's have a softer rubber comp (I thought it was softer) ?
If so what is the miles you can get out of them ?
I asked my local tire dealer about the BFG Moab's and all I got was a blank look :-)
My last pair of BFG's MT ran me $105 out the door for 33X9.50's, that was on my FJ40 (I traded up).

Re: What A DEAL!

Their tread compound is suppose to be really soft and sticky for the rocks. I don't drive my Sami on the highway so it won't matter.
