Indiana Fab Fest 2002

Need some input on this one.I can handle about 16 zukes at my place and besides those that came last year,I now have that many more interested.I will try to rent the Brown county fair grounds, its a few blocks from town, for the shoppers. The building I am looking at is where I teach my Survival classes. It has a kitchen[billy bob no more tents blowing over]two rest rooms and lots of space to throw down a sleeping bag[keep you out of the rain].I will try to get the building beside it[roof -no sides-16 bays]for our many projects.I dont know about electricity out there yet.I may have to ask for a few bucks to off set the cost, but that will up to you.I guess we will try to have it on Memorial weekend again.I think that will be May 26-30,We can probably get in the building on Fridaynight. We will do the local trail ride again and do the Badlands,Haspin acres.or something down in KY.You figure out what you would like to do and I will try and put it together. If any of you local folks want to help plan ,let me know and we will put our heads together.THANKS,RR

Re: Indiana Fab Fest 2002

You can count on me RR. Chipping in some cash won't be a problem. I've got about a year to save up! Any of those trails sounds good to me. But next year, let's do the local ride a little earlier in the day. That way Smitty will have plenty of daylight for repairs!

Re: Indiana Fab Fest 2002

RR, count me in man! I'm going to be living in Ohio starting this Feb. 02! It is just a few hrs away from me. I'm glad that you posted this now! Since I'm going to be working at a Int. Airport in Columbus Ohio as a Firefighter I'll have to give them lots of time to know when I need days off. I don't think I'll be starting Paramedic school then, might wait till the fall qurt. to start class. Like you said, as soon as you find out the cost, let us all know. If you need help setting stuff up, giving a medic class or survival training class (since I've got some training in the military) let me know! I'll be happy to come a few days early and talk things over. Would like to see how you do your hand to hand combat training. I'll vol. first! You have my e-mail, so let me know. Can't wait to meet ya and everyone else that shows up! Till then...
