Rear Kick.tracker carrier needed.

Well I managed to crack the ring gear side of my Hybred diff
when I broke an axle, (The axle shattered..) So I am looking for a replacment. I can get a whole axle for $250.00 but I need that like a hole in the head.) I just need the ring gear side of the carrier, or the whole carrier. Don't need
the hog's head. Anyone? One from just about any year kick tracker would work. (Up to 98 I think.)

Re: Rear Kick.tracker carrier needed.

96-98 are a larger 12 bolt ring gear. This is the rear end that you really want as it's the beefiest Kick rear (and is what is under the GV v6).\

Question is, what size do you have? I'll go to the yard and see what they do, but they want to sell the whole axle, but I might be able to get the chunck. Sounds like you would do best getting the 12-bolt chunk anyhow. I believe the 12-bolt and 10-bolt housing are the same, but don't quote me.

I think the locker will still work with the 12-bolt.

Re: Rear Kick.tracker carrier needed.

It is a 91 kick I am using right now, I could swaer it is a
12 bolt ring gear. (I remember counting them as I torqued
them down) 91 for sure. I am just going to run it for the
rest of the season then swap to Dana's when I do the coil
suspension. I have it together now, But I want it to be right, not just sorta fixed.
