CrowHorse will be proud

I bought an 86 Samurai tonight that was going to be parted out.I couldn't turn down a running Zuk for $200. I guess this will be my next project. All it needs is a sheet for the tcase and a release bearing.

No they are not rare. In fact, cheap sammies seem abundant.

Not to rub it in, but a 1.6 EFI Tracker with 76K miles just sold in Enfield,CT for $470 on ebay. AND, it had a 2WD tranny!

Unfortunately, I didn't wake up early enuff to scap it up.

If you need to find an extra parts rig, I'll tell you when I see one. Likewise, you me?

That's the one you got for $200??? What a great deal. It's not a great picture, but the truck appears to be in real clean shape. Congrats.

Re: CrowHorse will be proud

Quad--Not 100% sure about mods yet. Definitely going to put a nice paint scheme on it. Maybe spring over with rears in the front and CJ's in the rear. 31's on some F150 rims. First I've gotta pull the tranny and replace the release bearing.
rgd--Sorry about the quality of the pic....diposable camera and it was about to rain. Yeah, it's in pretty good shape for an 86.

Re: CrowHorse will be proud

If you put a non Suzuki Samurai paint color/brand on it can you still call it a Samurai?

AARRRRRRRG! 1987 Red JX 'vert, 4.5 BREEZE SPOA, SJ410 T-case (not sure how I like it), 29 Super Swampers (31 BFG M/T knock offs - eventually) AARRRRRRRG!
