Re: K&N Filter ?\'s

I have a K&N in my 87 (carb'd) Zuk. I bought it from macromotive.com. The K&N part # is E-2553. The Macromotive part number is KNE-E-2553 and it is $38.47. The recharger kit (oil) is KNE-99-5000. It goes for $9.96. To be honest I don't notice any performance gain from the K&N, but at least I'll never have to buy an air filter again. I don't mean to dis the K&N as I have seen them used on other vehicles with noticable results, but on a 60 horsepower motor what do you want?

Re: K&N Filter ?\'s

OOOh I totally agree, 5% of 65H.P. is a whopping 3.25 H.P. now if i had a 400 horse elephant motor (MOPAR) then 5% would be noticable. thanks for the numbers, I mainly want the K&N becasue I have RAM-AIR, and I go through about 5 filters a year. That is the one bad thing about being in a dry climate such as Colorado dust.
