OT boy do i feel stupid

well after about three months of trying to find out why the new zook had no power and getting ready to git rid of it just out of fustration, the kid from next door comes over and decides he's gonna take a look at it (wants his dad to buy it for him- first car) explain the problems i'd been having with it and what i had done trying to fix it,and that it really wouldn't be a good thing for him with it not running right, but he nags a ride out of me,and while helping put stuff back together he comes up with "hay, whats this little hose thing go to???" now i swear i looked at least a hundred times and never saw that vacume line off
so guess what, now that i can cruse at sevendy and even pass people,i think i'll keep mine, but i promised that i'd help him find one for him self.
theres a moral or a lesson to be learned here , if at first you don't susceed, git the kids to help!!!!!!!!!

Just curious what line was it? Sometime another set of eyes helps. My Wife and Kids have often helped me "see" things I couldn't see. Jim

I bet its the vacuum line that goes to the bellow below the back of the carb....mine was running real rough, hesitating, and just sucking down the gas (petrol for you non-americans (LOL). anyways, put it back on and viola!

Drive fast and take chances.
