Re: Camp Jeep

Unfortunately, they won't let you take your own vehicle through the course. At least that's how it was at the last one in my area was.

Re: Camp Jeep

Actually I have nothing against heep's....I just REALLY hate that radio spot! Thay just act like you can't go offroad unless you have a heep.

Re: Camp Jeep

The worst one is the new commercial on the Liberty. They want people to think it's capable off-road, maybe it is, but it should speak for itself.

He's right, you can't tak eyour own vehicle onto Camp Jeep. You're thinking of the "Jeep 101" course. We set one up for the Jeep Jamboree, and it was a lot of fun, got the TJ mired in the water pit. Nothing extravagant though.

Re: Camp Jeep

I think I might run out to my local jeep dealer for a little "test drive" of a liberity this weekend. Think they will notice if I take it down the local trail? Maybe I could talk the sales person into going with me!

Re: Camp Jeep

We did that exact thing with out '95 Trooper. Salesman was in the back having kittens on the trail, and it was in about 18" of snow. We did buy it, went awesome. Even a Yugo goes good down the road, no sense taking a test drive on the highway.

We almost got the Grand Cherokee stuck out in the woods, returned it with all kinds of mud on it, we didn't buy it because it sucked off-road.

Re: Camp Jeep

I had a TJ and now have a Liberty. We have looked at Camp Jeep a few times but I just can't justify spending $275.00 so some goofball can tell me how to drive over a dirt mound. I can think of money better spent.

Re: Camp Jeep

No kidding. Our club used to host the Jeep Jamboree, but I couldn't justify spending $300 per person to ride the trails I ride every month. Believe it or not, they're always packed at those events, I think it's nuts.

It's one of those Jeep things I'll never understand.
