I e-mail an update out every so often. If you would like to be on the list to receive the Zuwharrie Updates just let me know.
Here is a copy of the update:
Well it's time for your Zuwharrie update. For those who are new to this, every so often I mail out an update about the upcoming Zuwharrie trailride.
We are a little over 2 months away from Zuwharrie Fall 2001! The biggest news is that the website is up and running. If you haven't been there yet check it out at; http://www.geocities.com/zuwharrieinfo/
R/T (and Justin)has done a great job of putting the website together. As time goes by more info and features will be added. There is a Bulletin Board there that you can post questions on. So please use it if you have any questions regarding Zuwharrie.
To date we have 35 vehicles signed-up! 33 Samurai's and 2 Cherokees. I'm projecting we'll end up with around 50 Samurai's for this event. We are now in the process of gathering prizes for the raffle. The raffle prizes and their donators will be posted on the website. Something new this year is the addition of a mandatory equipment list. Please check the Safety page for details. I really hated to use the word "mandatory". But I wanted to stress the importance of being prepared. Please note that we are camping in a different place then we did for the Spring ride. We will be setting up camp back at the site of the 2000 Fall ride. We will have signs to help you find your way.
Make sure you have signed up if you're planning to attend. We need an accurate count so we know how many people we will be feeding and how many vehicles will be on the trails.
