Re: dopey\'s dead zuki

Yes, welcome.

So what happened to the girl? What kind of trouble did she get in? Nail her to the wall I would, all your hard work is down the drain. I'd itemize EVERYTHING, including the amount of time you and others have in it, because you know the insurance company is only going to give you about $1,000 for it. A friend ran over a Subaru in his Jeep (no kidding, killed the driver, but the Subaru never stopped for a stopsign), and the insurance was only going to give him $800 for his '74. He produced the receipts, a list of equipment and man hours on the frame up resto, and they ended up giving him $3,600 and he kept the jeep. Don't back down on anything.

Sorry to hear of the loss, keep us informed on the buildup. If you need springs, I have CJ and some YJ's I could let go.

Re: dopey\'s dead zuki

Definitely make her pay! When I totalled my first 87 S-10 they only wanted to give me $500 for it, but I just had over $800 worth of work done to it. The girl that hit me didn't have insurance so I had to get a lawyer involved because I missed over a month of work because of it. Charge her for everything, every screw, every bit of time that your buddies helped you and all of the time that you missed from work because of the accident. Believe me if the shoe was on the other foot she would do it to you.
