Willys truck

I saw a willys truck for sale today and was thinking if it was worth anything to a Zook owner. Not sure what year and only really looking at the axles. There was no engine but seemed to have everythng else. The rear axle was off set and I do nor remember about the front. there were number all over the diffs but I could not understand. The front was a birfield joint and was marked "front axle" and the rear had a "44" on it. The axles looked kinda wimpy but I know very little about it. It this even worth seeing what he wants for it? Is anybody here interested?

Don't force it, just get a bigger hammer.

Re: Willys truck

The front axle was a D25, weak at best, very few redeeming qualities (7.75" ring gear is about it). The rear was a D44, which was most likely a 19 spline, but 2 piece axles, not too bad, I'm swapping a CJ one into my Zuk.

There is a difference though, between the width on the CJ axles and the Truck/wagon axles, so they are not interchangeable. The truck/wagon ones are wider.
