NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

I am kicking around the idea of a fab-fest before our Zookin-2k1 event. If there is enough interest for the North-east zookers I will set it up. I was thinking of late Aug early sept. (The Run is the last weekend of Sept BTW)

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

For projects I figured we would kind of do an election format,
I know Max needs a hybred rear. and a few guys could use some
lifts. We will see who responds and go from there. Since I
rebuilt my tie-rod with DOM tubing this weekend I am fully repaired. (Of course I have a club run the 18th.. )

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

CLub run on the 18th? I guess that means more wrenchin' on the 19th?

Hmmm...DOM tie rods? Sounds like a fab project that everyone could use.

I suggested springing Dean 'cuz I remeber him wanting to do it but needed help. Would be nice to see him walking a little taller.

Otherwise, I'm game fore anything.

Gotta go, vicodin taking effect.

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

Well I am trying to get my wood done. My truck is all fixed...
By the time he gets the parts, it would be time for the possible fab fest. So that is one thing we can do.

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

Guys,
i would be very interested and grateful to be one of the chosen projects. And i like "quickie SPOA and walking taller". problem is, im not so sure on dates- im in the process of buying a condo in RI and might be moving/packing. But- I should know specific dates on this later this week. If i can swing and yall can help- Im thinking SPOA with rears up front, ML of course. Sound good? I'd love to do the YJ, but dont have that coin right now- like i said, im buying a condo. But I could afford to pay for the kits from some vendors(provided they can ship in time!!) so that it would be less labor. Lookout Tough Truck challenge 2(aka Glenns back yard)!!

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

If you went with the breeze spoa kit and expanders then shipping should be no problem. (Get a zlink from him too,
or a drop pitman arm. Tim from NCO will set you up asap.
If you can get all the stuff together we can do that as 1
big project. 1 team on one end and one on the other. Got to make sure we have enough people who what to do it.

Re: NE-Possible AUG Fab Fest

I'll bring my axe.

How about a PONY INSTALLATION? Or we could do a YJ conversion? (Danny?) How about a T-case arm beefing? Let's see, what else could I use...
