4.3

It appears I have a nice 4.3 V6 Vortec w/full harness and ECM waiting for me in Florida. So, I may throw out this MGB 1.8 and drop the 4.3. Anyone have any tips? Like where the hell do I start?

How heavy is this engine? I'm not going to put my rear end up in the air everytime I run into some soft, deep mud and sink like the Titanic head first?

Re: 4.3

the 4.3 weighs 475 lbs. I would start with a 3 inch body lift to clear the tranny tunnel.

Re: 4.3

Thanks bro, but it's a wash. I come to find the 4.3 needed a complete rebuild, and weighs too much for what I want to do. I'm gonna stick with this MGB 1.8 until I can get the Ford 2.8 or 2.9. I still have those wheels for you, haven't forgotten ya.
