you can count me there man. workin on tryin to get some buddies to come down. offered to let them drive a stocker. will see what happens.

for a dinner, i was likin the sounds of beef sammwiches. sliced cooked beef, onions n green peppers on bun with swiss cheese topped with a balsamic vinagerette dressing. green beans cooked in bacon grease to go with them.
thats whats on the menu. hopefully i can get a buddy to get his better half to do up some killer tater salad again. it was great in april.

Re: Zuwharrie Fall 2001

Jbird- would love to make it. unsure of being able to get the time off work. BB if you are cookin beans in bacon grease i might just drive down for those. haven't had them like that in years! Ya know...my granny is from Knoxville..so when i was a lil'n i used to eat like that. I mapped it out from my house to Zuwharrie and it is 16 hours!!! ouch! still we are thinking about it.
love to all

Re: Zuwharrie Fall 2001

Louie- you make it sound easy...Granny don't live in Knox anymore she is up here 20 min away now. And you know it ain't gonna be cause we dont wanna come down that will keep up from being there...It will be getting the time off work in the middle of deer season up here. WIll the BIG BLUE beast make it through the forest you think ?? or would be better of in the red stocker??
Love ya rae

Re: Zuwharrie Fall 2001

jbird, were workin on it man.

Rae, the trails are ALL passable with a stocker if you dont mind a lil frame scrape sometimes WHEN IT IS DRY.... now, if it rains, it will be hellova lot slicker than greased gorilla snot. thats all there is to it. if you brought the blue beast, would add considerably to the pushwater xpense. thats why i offered that stocker. good luck on the off time. hopefully it will happen. if not, i understand completely....
