Power brakes on the Sam

All the time I have been snipping and capping vaccuum hoses on my Sam, I never even paid attention to the vaccuum hose leading out of the brake booster to the manifold. This has got to be a tremendous loss of power to the engine. Has anyone capped that and noticed any loss of braking power? How hard can it be to stop a Sam with 31" tires without that brake booster?

If you really want to find out, find a hill go 50mph and turn off the motor and see if you can stop! I would not do this myself I like to stop.
