YJ\'s are on

I finished getting the CSC YJ kit installed today. Right now I only have a stock rear driveshaft in. I didn't get to put the new front shaft in that I got from Dave. I just need to get my shocks mounts up now.

I've got some pics up on my site at http://members.home.net/marvinmartian/samurai/csc.htm

Specs: CSC YJ kit with stock YJ springs. 31x10.5 TSL's on 15x8 Rock Crawlers with 2.75 backspacing.

Here's one preview.

Re: YJ\'s are on

Here are some preliminary shots of it's flex. I couldn't find anything enough to get anywhere near full drop.

Re: YJ\'s are on

looks like you are gonna stuff into the wheel wells pretty bad ,might want to do some shock /bump stop limiting of that flex so you don't eat a tire or a axle .
just a thought zukikid

Re: YJ\'s are on

yeah, I was testing to see how bad it was going to be. It's really bad. I need to add about 5 inches to the front bumpstops and around the same to the rear.

Re: YJ\'s are on

take a look at Geoff's writeup..I think he has pix of how he put his bump stops...

Man....after looking at your's spring under SpUa..I might swap my SpOa out and do it too....it sure would be safer going up "Lion's Back"...I still get the shakes thinking about that trip!! lol
