Snorkel

I'm going to install a home made snorkel on my Zuk this week. I'm taking a little different approach then most people did. I plan on taking some picture and if the snorkel turns out good, I'll write an article for Izook.

I'll keep everyone posted on my progress. Wish me luck!

Re: Snorkel

I hate to say to much about it. I'm going to feel really stupid it if doesn't work : ^ P

Basically, I'm not going through the side of the fender like everyone else. I run a lot of tight trails and I'm afraid I'd rip it off if it was sticking out the side. Plus I have my side view mirror moved up to the window post. There's not enough room for both the snorkel and mirror.

Re: Snorkel

run it up just like the humvees and stuff...I have thought of how they should have kits that do that cause that would probably look pretty sweet as well??!!

Re: Snorkel

I am planning on running mine up out through the coweling, behind the hood, and straight up the windshield pillar to the top. I think it may be tough but am going to try anyway. From the little bit of looking I have done I think it will work and function and look better.

Don't force it, just get a bigger hammer.
