I have a 95 Sidekick, 1.6L, 16 valve engine. When I went to replace the timing belt then crankshaft shows to be at #1 TDC, confirmed this with position of distributor. But according to ny Haynes manaual the timing mark on the camshaft pulley is 180 degrees off. I have read on a Suzuki forum that the marks are indeed 180 degrees off. who is right and could the engine even run if it were that far off?
