Axle switch

How dificult is it to make the switch over to yoter axels? Is there driveshaft work involved? 88 Samurai with T100 toyota truck axles. Any good web pages for this would be appreciated.

perches are 1/2 inch wider and there is something with the rear axle alignment??

I thought T100 was IFS? How are you going to do that?

huh?? I thought all yoter pick-ups (not tacomas!) whether it be a t-100 or what was a straight alxe!! if not do not convert to IFS! you will pay out your --- for one thing! nother is that lifts will through you back a lot as well!

toyota stopped making straight axle pickups way back in '85... since about 90 or so toyota has been making the tacoma, but didnt start calling a tacome untill about 94 when the t100 came out.... when that truck bombed (and it did, cause it sucked) all that was available from toyota was a tacoma... the tundra came out in 99 (i think)... every truck and SUV since about '85 has been IFS...

except land cruisers, range rovers,excruisions and some lexus. these all have solid axles. and are considered the baddest of the current suvs. later mike
