Well, packed the truck and load the fam and headed off to the Melt at 4 this afternoon. First time with the Toy and the camper on the back, rolling along at 60 no prob. So I'm almost empty and pull off to tank up. Fill tank and move truck to the side to let the wife go in and have a pee. Jumps back in the truck and fire her up.......What the hell is that noise????
Turn it off right away. Open hood have wife fire it up again.....TURN IT OFF!!!
Holy crap the fan has detached it self from the thermo-hub thingy!!!!
Make it short. No parts, nothing open, 100 miles from home, need "RV Plus" from AAA to get it home. Don't have that (of course), didn't even know it existed.
Called Bro to come pick me, the wife and baby up. Left the rig in large service center off the 401. Return tomorrow with part (if I can find it)............

Well Dave just got off the phone with Toy dealer and the fan will only be in tomorrow morning. Called every boneyard I found in the book and NO ONE has one. So new it is then at $127CND. I'll go back and pick the truck up from the gasbar/restaurant/truckstop in the morning and come home with my tail betwen my legs........
On the good side I'll get to work on the YJ's on my LWB and get ready for the next event in Mass. Zookin' 2K1!!!
