Melt Crunch Time Good Medicine....

Time grows very short. The Melt is literally days away and I'm sure that there are many if not most, who are wrenching like crazy to get ready for it.
I feel your pain..... I'm shaking down the new motor/Sami in preparing for the 15+ hour drive. The motor runs great (thanks Max)! As one problem is solved, sometimes several new ones emerge. It can be very frustrating, but perservere I do.
My point is, despite the ambiguity, is that I wish all those folks in similar situations All Good Medicine especially for this crunch time. I hope all works out and everyone sucessfully completes their preparations and upgrades.
Scott, Tim, & Brad.... Good Medicine to you and the new suspension. I have faith that it will be completed and work to your expectations.....
To all the folks that are actually ready now for the Melt, (are there any?) I envy you....

All Good Medicine,
Crow

Creator, everything we do leaves a track. May our tracks be ones we would want you to see and others to follow......

Re: Melt Crunch Time Good Medicine....

CROW- We are feeling the crunch too. Thankgoodness we aren't the only ones rowing the boat of hurry the heck up!!! Mitch is working on finishing my half door, he has to replace a u-joint in the third member, re-wire our tail lights since he took of the rear bumper,etc.etc.. It is just all the little things that need to be done. The biggest project is going to be trying to get the Zuki's tranny juice off the bedliner of our Dakota(tow rig) so our gear don't smell like that stuff. Glad to hear that you got the truck working again.
TO all of you that have a long journey to the Melt...Here is hoping that you have a safe trip and may the wind be at your back if you are drivin your ZUK!
Love to all
Rae

Re: Melt Crunch Time Good Medicine....

Well, I am right in the middle of spraying paint right now, the whole damn truck! Plus, I need to throw in a locker, weld up a crack in my rear dif cover, change a spring leaf, put on my skid plate, throw in a rear CV shaft when it shows up.......... Too much work, not enough time, will likely be wrenching in the campground Wednesday evening. I don't think I will be alone!

I'm just about finished. I have to change all of the fluids in the tow vehicle( $40 just in the tranny alone). Diffs and t-cases are done. Now off to put a new window in the truck cap so all of the parts that I'm bringing don't get wet.Tim if you need any help I'll bee there early on Wednesday.
