Man I heard they are killer little machines I finally got to look at one and they went all out on this one!! They only thing is that I did not get to feel its acceleration..Oh and there is talk of a lift already in the works if not done!

Re: suzuki GV XL-7

We love ours. With three kids, two which are 11 months old, room was a necessity. We traded in a 2000 GV and Bought a 2001 XL-7. What a differance. It's power is very noticable. The ride is excellant. The best part is it's a suzuki and not a caravan. We bought the touring model. It came with power everything, including sunroof. It has rear passenger air conditioning, indash tape and cd player, and best of all ROOM. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting one.

And that motor can handle 10k RPMS! Ofcourse the computer won't ever let it reach 10k rpms, but the advantage of knowing that it can. Word is next years models will get a Suzuki 3.0 v-6 and Chevy will get the old 2.7.

Re: suzuki GV XL-7

I have been thinking of getting one. They look nice, and they will make great Samurai tow vehicles. Just think of all the spare parts you could carry in there. I can't wait to see somebody throw a lift and a set of 30s on it.

Zukiguy:
Where did you hear about the 3.0L engine? That sounds interesting.

Re: suzuki GV XL-7

Ronin: A new Zuki only dealership opened in Plano (suburb of Dallas) and ofcourse I immediately stopped in and met everyone. When my rear motor mount needed replacing, I ordered it through them and started talking about the XL-7 powertrain.

Re: suzuki GV XL-7

Calmini has a 2" (maybe 2.5") that fits the XL-7 I have seen photos of one lifted and it looks killer!

Mini4x,
Do you know what tire size he is running in that picture? They look a little bigger than stock. The XL-7s look nice with some lift on em.
